GH Commercial is thrilled to continue our support for the Living Future Institute of Australia (LFIA) as a proud sponsor of the 2025 Biophilic Design Awards in the Interior and Renovation category. As a long-standing Strategic Partner of LFIA, we are committed to championing sustainable design practices that reconnect people with nature, fostering healthier and more inspiring spaces.
The Biophilic Design Awards celebrate innovative projects that integrate biophilic principles, creating built environments that enhance well-being, sustainability, and a deeper connection to the natural world. This year, for the first time, the awards have been extended to welcome entrants from New Zealand, further broadening the reach and impact of biophilic design across the region.
Applications are now open and will close on Sunday, 30th March 2025, at 11:59 pm AEDT. Eligible projects must be built and occupied in either Australia or New Zealand, showcasing a strong biophilic design narrative that demonstrates how key design strategies lead to tangible outcomes. Special consideration will be given to projects that enhance occupant health, well-being, and orientation to nature, as well as those that incorporate multi-sensory experiences through compelling imagery and storytelling.
At GH Commercial, we recognise the transformative power of biophilic design and its ability to shape spaces that support both people and the planet. Through our ongoing partnership with LFIA, we continue to advocate for environmentally responsible and human-centric design solutions, ensuring that commercial interiors positively impact those who experience them daily.
We encourage designers, architects, and industry leaders to submit their projects and join us in celebrating the best in biophilic design. For more information and to apply, visit the Living Future Institute of Australia’s website.
Together, let’s create a more sustainable and nature-connected future.
